That's how we got here. 

On a sunny afternoon, two best friends met over lunch, eager to brainstorm new business ventures; surrounded by vibrant dishes, soft wafts of saffron, the distinct pinch of cardamom—Black Dot was the answer to a question we hadn’t realized we’d asked. 

 

As a Filipino and a Malay, as mothers of two and three, delving into the world of Asian cuisine has been a staple in our bustling households.
